Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson is facing a tough time as she seeks a second term in the October election.
A recent poll says most New Orleans voters didn't approve of the job Hutson was doing even before last month's jailbreak, which has only made matters worse for her.
At this point, Hutson's disapproval rating stands at 63 percent.
She's being challenged for reelection by former interim NOPD chief Michelle Woodfork, attorney Edwin Shorty, and retired judge Julian Parker.
