State lawmakers are still working to pass bills before the current legislative session ends on Thursday evening.

House Bill 639, which raises the tax on online sports gambling to 21 percent, has passed the House and Senate and is ready for Governor Jeff Landry's signature.

House Bill 63 would raise the retirement age for judges from 70 to 75 years old.

Senate Bill 117 prohibits the serving and selling of ultra-processed foods in public schools. The bill passed the Senate unanimously a week ago.
