New Orleans City Council President JP Morrell claims he has a set of keys to the Orleans Parish jail. The sheriff's office says he doesn't.
Morrell said on Tuesday that he got the keys from a former jail employee and added it's not a good idea for the sheriff's office to fire people and not get their keys back.
Two of the ten inmates who escaped from the jail last month are still on the loose.
Sheriff Susan Hutson said the locks at the jail were a contributing factor in the jailbreak. The sheriff's office says all the keys to the jail are in their possession.
