More Juneteenth celebrations are being held in the New Orleans area today.
A Juneteenth Jamboree is being held from 4 to 8 p.m. tonight in Harvey. The free event is hosted by the Krewe of Athena and includes free health screenings and activities for kids.
There's also a Juneteenth Freedom Gala happening from 7-10 p.m. tonight at the André Cailloux Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Justice.
