Some new talent is coming to the New Orleans Pelicans after the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday.
The home team selected Oklahoma guard Jeremiah Fears with the seventh overall pick, and Maryland center Derik Queen with the 13th overall pick.
The Pels will have the number 40 pick in the second round of the NBA Draft, which starts this evening at 7 p.m. New Orleans time in Brooklyn.
