The medical teams who responded to the Bourbon Street terrorist attack on New Year's Day are the recipients of a special honor.
On Thursday, Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans held a ceremony to present a specially designed pin to the Ochsner Health staff members.
Speakers at the ceremony included Crimestoppers president and CEO Darlene Cusanza, New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick, and Ochsner System Chair of Emergency Medical Services Jeffrey Kuo.
