The Louisiana Attorney General's Office is formally charging all ten inmates who escaped from the Orleans Parish jail in May.
Every escapee faces a charge of simple escape, including Derrick Groves, who is still on the loose.
Attorney General Liz Murrill says her office will prosecute these cases. She says the escape charges are in addition to whatever charges they were already jailed for.
The May 16 jailbreak is one of the biggest in New Orleans history.
