Jail Escapee Antoine Massey Pleads Not Guilty

Jail escapee Antoine Massey is pleading not guilty to the charges that got him locked up in the first place.

In a court appearance on Tuesday, Massey, who appeared remotely from the state prison in Angola, entered not-guilty pleas to domestic abuse battery involving strangulation and auto theft.

He will be held without bond until a pretrial conference and bond hearing scheduled for August 5.

Massey is one of ten men who escaped from the Orleans Parish jail on May 16. All but one have been recaptured.
