Infamous 'Tot mom' Casey Anthony was spotted cozying up in a "situationship" with a former police officer turned gun store owner, TMZ reports.
Anthony, 39, who was infamously acquitted of murder charges in relation to the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, has been seen in New Hampshire with Ben Beauchemin, the owner of the Wicked Weaponry gun shop in Hookset, according to the website. Photos of the two showed them enjoying food and beer at a Manchester sports bar Wednesday (July 9) night.
Beauchemin, who also served in the U.S. Army Rangers, is reportedly in a "situationship" with Anthony, meaning they're not officially dating, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to TMZ. Beauchemin reportedly shut down his Facebook and stopped responding to his family, who was reportedly unaware of his link to Anthony, after photos of the two emerged, a family source told the website.
Last year, Anthony was reported to be dating an engineer for an aerospace company and the father of two young adult sons who blew up his 22-year-marriage, the New York Post reported at the time. Anthony also launched a TikTok account to announce her intention to speak about legal advocacy issues "as a proponent for the LGBTQ community" and "women's rights" in March.
Anthony initially entered the public consciousness during the disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter, which led to a nationwide manhunt and resulted in Anthony's arrest after she was caught in several lies during the investigation. Anthony was at the center of public scrutiny when police determined that she'd spent the previous month partying, rather than looking for her missing daughter.
Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home six months later, at which point Casey was charged with first-degree murder. An estimated 40 million Americans watched at least part of the Casey Anthony Trial and the verdict was reported to have been viewed by nearly 100 million people globally.
