The New Orleans Pelicans were handed a loss in Summer League action Thursday, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-91 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Lester Quinones came off the bench to score a team-high 20 points in the setback. Yves Missi finished with 13 points and 13 boards, while rookie Derik Queen contributed a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pelicans (0-1) play the Los Angeles Lakers tomorrow night.
