The Orleans Parish Coroner plans to remove bodies from his facility by today if the air conditioning isn't fixed first.
Dr. Dwight McKenna's office has reportedly reached a deal to use autopsy facilities at University Medical Center in New Orleans.
McKenna stated on Monday that the A/C in his autopsy room went down last Thursday.
Mayor LaToya Cantrell's office says the A/C has been fixed, but a spokesperson for the coroner's office said on Tuesday that the autopsy room is still too hot for work.
