City council vice president Helena Moreno still has the lead in the latest poll for the New Orleans mayor's race, but not enough to avoid a runoff.
A survey of 600 New Orleans voters conducted last week showed Moreno with 47 percent support.
City Councilman Oliver Thomas trailed with 16 percent, followed by State Senator Royce Duplessis at 14 percent.
In May, before Duplessis joined the race, Moreno had 52 percent support.
If no candidate wins 50 percent or more of the vote in October, a runoff in November will decide the outcome.
