Visually impaired visitors to the State Library of Louisiana can now feel the patriotism after the library unveiled new braille flag displays on Tuesday.
The Louisiana/Mississippi Regional Group of the Blinded Veterans Association donated the bronze and acrylic plaques.
Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser was on hand for the inauguration of the display, which also features a braille version of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Nungesser thanked the Blinded Veterans Association for the generous gift.
