The Saints are set to open preseason play this weekend as New Orleans visits the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon in Inglewood.
Rookie running back Devin Neal is set to miss a few weeks of practice after suffering a hamstring injury. Tight end Juwan Johnson practiced in a limited fashion during yesterday's session due to a groin injury.
In other news, the team has claimed tight end Mason Pline off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers and waived fellow tight end Seth Green.
