Y'All Aboard! Amtrak New Orleans to Mobile Service Starts Monday

Amtrak's new Mardi Gras Service launches on Monday.

The service offers morning and evening departures between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, with stops along the way in Bay Saint Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula.

The trains feature Coach and Business Class seating, free Wi-Fi, and an onboard café. Pets in carriers are allowed within weight limits.

Adult one-way coach fares start at $15, with discounts for kids ages two to 12, seniors, students, veterans, military families, and groups.

Amtrak also says bus connections between Baton Rouge and New Orleans will be available.
