Louisiana National Guard Military Police Soldiers are arriving in Washington, D.C.
Gov. Jeff Landry approved the deployment of about 135 soldiers to D.C. on Monday. On Tuesday, the soldiers flew from the Alexandria International Airport to our nation's capital.
The military police will be part of federal law enforcement happening in D.C. as part of President Trump's efforts to address crime there.
