Report: Louisiana Ranks 34th In US For Dental Health

A new study says Louisiana ranks 34th in the nation for dental and oral health.

Affordable Dentures & Implants based its study on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Census Bureau.

Its criteria were the number of dental visits, tooth loss among residents 65 and older, and whether people have dental insurance coverage.

Louisiana is among the ten states where seniors are most likely to have lost teeth, and where residents are least likely to see a dentist.
