The Saints have set their initial roster for the 2025 season.
New Orleans cut a group of players that included running backs Cam Akers and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, offensive lineman Shane Lemieux, wide receiver Dante Pettis, defensive end Isaiah Foskey and quarterback Jake Haener.
The team also kept tight ends Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau on the physically unable to perform list to start the season.
The Saints acquired offensive tackle Asim Richards and a 2028 seventh-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round selection.
