Louisiana lawmakers may be called in for a special session to redraw the state's congressional districts again.
The state legislature drew up a map last year that created a second majority minority district. The map enjoyed bipartisan support, but it attracted a lawsuit for designing a district based mainly on race.
The United States Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case, with opening arguments scheduled for October 15.
No word yet on when a special session may be called.
