New Orleans city officials are expecting traffic camera revenues to plunge in 2025.

During a revenue estimation conference last week, city leaders estimated the cameras will bring in just over $3 million for the general fund this year.

That figure represents a sharp drop from the nearly $20 million collected in 2023.

New state laws limit the city's ability to use traffic cameras to generate revenue.
