The New Orleans Saints are closing in on their Week 1 matchup, hosting the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon at the Caesars Superdome.
Left guard Trevor Penning and defensive end Chase Young did not participate in yesterday's practice. Defensive back Jordan Howden and cornerback Alontae Taylor were both limited during the session.
The Saints lost their last meeting against the Cardinals 42-34 in October 2022.
In other news, the team has signed defensive end Garrett Nelson to the practice squad and released quarterback Hunter Dekkers from the unit.
