The staff at the Louisiana Democratic Party headquarters will temporarily work remotely after vandalism was reported on the premises.
On Friday, the word "murderers" was found spray-painted in red in the parking lot of the building in downtown Baton Rouge.
The message appears to be a reference to last week's assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at a speaking engagement in Utah.
Louisiana Democratic Party Executive Director Dadrius Lanus referred to the graffiti as an act of harassment.
