The mother of Bryan Vasquez will remain in custody until her trial for his death.
A judge denied bond for Hilda Vasquez on Monday.
Police arrested Vasquez for negligent homicide and second-degree cruelty to juveniles after her 12-year-old autistic son wandered away from home unsupervised last month and was killed by an alligator.
Prosecutors argued in Monday's hearing that Vasquez is a danger to the community, especially after she and her newborn baby both tested positive for cocaine at a local hospital in July.
