A Turning Point USA event scheduled in Baton Rouge next month is expected to proceed following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
An LSU spokesperson confirmed the university's Turning Point USA chapter will host the event at 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 27, at the Raising Cane's River Center Theatre.
Organizers say the event will feature Governor Jeff Landry and conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Attendees must be registered and get their tickets ahead of time.
