A LaPlace man is accused of killing another man and stuffing his body into the trunk of the victim's car.
St. John Parish deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of gunshots on Railroad Avenue. Witnesses said they'd seen a man evidently loading a body into the trunk of a car.
When deputies caught up with the suspect car at a gas station on Airline Highway, the driver told them there was a body in the trunk. They found Tylen Anderson shot in the head.
Tyler Bourgeois is charged with murder.
