LSU Becomes First Program Adding Jersey Patch Deal

LSU has signed a multimillion dollar uniform sponsorship ahead of NCAA approval.

University officials say they have planned patch placements for all sports and expect for it to get approved.

LSU is reportedly the first Power Four school with such a deal.

This comes as the NCAA reviews a proposal to allow uniform logos, with a vote in January and rollout possible in August 2026.

Other schools, including Clemson, are exploring similar agreements.

Analysts say widespread adoption could add major new revenue to college sports.
