Two New Orleans City Council races will head to a runoff election next month.
Council seats for Districts A and E will be on the ballot on November 15.
District E candidates are former councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen and state representative Jason Hughes- vying to represent New Orleans East and the Lower Ninth Ward.
In District A, Holly Friedman and Aimee McCarron are facing off to represent Lakeview, Hollygrove, Carrollton and parts of Mid-City and Uptown.
