New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is facing court-ordered legal fees over $23,000.
This comes after the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal affirmed dismissal of Cantrell's stalking petition.
Cantrell accused French Quarter resident Anne Breaud of stalking after she photographed Cantrell and her bodyguard dining on a balcony. The court ruled the complaint violated Breaud's First Amendment rights.
Meanwhile, Cantrell and her bodyguard each face 18 federal charges of record tampering and false statements.
