LDH: Passenger With Measles Passed Through NOLA Airport On Sunday

The Louisiana Department of Health is confirming the state's third measles case of 2025.

Officials say public exposure took place at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Concourse B, on Sunday evening. The patient was reportedly exposed during international travel.

The patient wasn't hospitalized, but will be in isolation until no longer contagious. Their vaccination status is unknown.

Health officials aren't releasing any further information in order to protect patient confidentiality.
