U.S. Representative Clay Higgins is the lone holdout in the US House's 427-1 vote on Tuesday to release the Epstein files.

The south Louisiana Republican stated online that he opposed the bill to release the files because it would expose private information about people not accused of doing anything wrong.

Jeff Epstein was a financier who died in federal custody in 2019 while he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges involving underage girls.
