New Rouses Market Location Coming To New Orleans East

Residents of New Orleans East are reportedly excited that a new Rouses Markets location is coming to their community.

The Winn-Dixie on Chef Menteur Highway is one of ten stores the local grocery chain is acquiring and rebranding.

Donny Rouse, CEO of Rouses, says the residents are familiar with the Thibodaux-based company as a local family-owned brand.

The new location will be one of only two grocery stores in New Orleans East.

The company that owns Winn-Dixie is focusing on Florida and selling most of its stores in other states.
