A former Tangipahoa Parish deputy is in custody and accused of inappropriate conduct involving juveniles.
Acting on a tip, the sheriff's office investigated claims that Mike Johnson had recently showed inappropriate photos to minors while working a security detail.
He was placed on administrative leave, and following the investigation, he was terminated on Friday and arrested soon after.
Johnson faces four counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of malfeasance in office.
