The New Orleans Inspector General's Office says the city's traffic camera program owes drivers thousands in refunds for overpaid tickets.

On Wednesday, the office reported that the city has more than $770,000 in tickets that were accidentally paid twice, paid but later dismissed, or paid with too much money.

Inspector General Ed Michel advised drivers to contact the traffic camera program if they believe they've got a refund coming.
