Four Orleans Parish deputies are out of a job and facing charges for unauthorized use of force on an inmate.
An internal investigation started in November after a citizen complaint about the incident.
Sergeant Kurt Coulon Jr. and Detective Bruce Dave are charged with simple battery. Detectives Damien Anthony and Bryant Parish are charged with principal to simple battery.
All four deputies are charged with malfeasance in office, and all four were fired before they were arrested. Details of the incident weren't provided.
