The Krewe of Endymion is canceling its Saturday open house because more freezing weather is in the forecast.
The krewe announced Tuesday night that the event is canceled and won't be rescheduled because of events already on the calendar ahead of the parade day.
The Krewe of Endymion parade will roll through Mid-City New Orleans into the Superdome on Saturday, February 14th.
In other carnival news, the Mystic Krewe of Barkus has named Mayor Helena Moreno's French bulldog Nacho as its 2026 Celebrity Grand Marshal.
