La. AG Murrill Creates Orleans Metro Task Force To Fight Child Exploitation

A new initiative will target and arrest criminals who try to harm children in the greater New Orleans area.

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill joined local law enforcement leaders on Tuesday to announce the creation of the Orleans Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The new task force is headquartered at the Kenner Police Department.

Member organizations include the Louisiana State Police, the sheriff's offices of several local parishes, the police departments of Kenner, New Orleans, and Gretna, and Homeland Security.
