Humane Society Of Louisiana: 15 Mardi Gras Horses Still Need Homes

The Humane Society of Louisiana is still trying to find homes for 15 horses participating in the Mardi Gras horse adoption program this year.

They started out with a record 28 horses, and 13 have already found homes.

The horses need to be placed in their new homes within a few days of the end of Mardi Gras, which is coming up in less than a week.

Only qualified persons, rescuers, and sanctuaries should apply to adopt one or more of these horses.
