The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club is investigating after one of its Mardi Gras parade float riders threw a liquor bottle that injured a four-year-old boy.
The child was treated at the hospital for a concussion and a gash to his scalp.
A Zulu spokesman said Wednesday that a rider on the second story of its Float 26 had thrown the bottle in a "direct violation of Zulu policy."
New Orleans police are aware of the incident, but so far no arrests have been made.
