New Orleans city officials are looking into the possibility of enforcing parking rules with cameras.

The city is gathering details on how parking companies could enforce parking rules with new technology such as camera and mobile systems, AI, and business analytics.

Officials say there are no immediate plans to install cameras.

The city will collect information for another month, as Mayor Helena Moreno's administration battles a budget shortfall of more than $220 million.
