LSU was handed a loss in its final road game of the season as the Tigers fell to Auburn 88-74 in SEC action.
Mike Nwoko had a team-high 19 points as the Tigers dropped to 15-15.
They will host Texas A&M in their regular season finale on Saturday evening.
In other action, Southern picked up a win on the road, defeating Alabama State 71-64. The Jags snapped a two-game losing skid to improve to 14-16.
The Ragin' Cajuns are advancing to the second round of the Sun Belt Tournament.
Louisiana defeated Georgia State 84-75 in Pensacola. Jaxon Olvera led the way with a game-high 29 points.
The Cajuns will now face James Madison this evening.
Upcoming games have Tulane visiting Temple tomorrow night, while New Orleans is set to face Houston Christian in the first round of the Southland Tournament on Sunday.
