Cleanup operations continue after an oil spill in the Gulf last week.
The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port says more than 12,000 gallons of crude oil were released after a mechanical failure at its offshore facility about 20 miles from Port Fourchon.
More than 250 personnel and 32 boats are involved in cleanup efforts. Aerial surveillance is being conducted every day by helicopters, planes, and drones.
Officials say no impact to fish or wildlife has been reported.
