The developer of Bayou Phoenix at the former Six Flags site is in need of more funding.
Troy Henry of Henry Consulting made the pitch on Friday evening in a public meeting at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church.
With some city council members and state lawmakers present, Henry said about another $50 million should do it.
He said he hopes to secure some state funding during the 2026 legislative session, which starts today.
