A Gretna woman is under federal indictment for a six-figure theft from a federal credit union where she was a bank manager.
Federal prosecutors say Alexa Braud was indicted last month for bank theft.
The Department of Justice says Braud entered Riverland Federal Credit Union in Gretna, where she worked as a bank manager, and took $181,000 in cash.
If convicted, Braud faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
