Tulane MBB Loses To Memphis In OT To End Regular Season

The Green Wave closed out the regular season with a loss as Tulane fell to Memphis 96-95 in overtime in New Orleans.

Rowan Brumbaugh scored a game-high 31 points in the setback.

The Green Wave will enter the American Conference Tournament at 17-14. They face Memphis in the first round on Wednesday evening in Birmingham.

In other action, UNO is advancing to the next round of the Southland Tournament as the Privateers beat Houston Christian 73-60 in the first round in Lake Charles.

Coleton Benson and Jakevion Buckley had 14 points apiece.

The Privateers will play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the quarterfinals this afternoon.

Other programs are gearing up for their conference tournaments, including LSU. The Tigers are set to battle Kentucky on Wednesday morning in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Nashville.

Southern takes on Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the SWAC Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night. Louisiana and Southeastern Louisiana wrapped up their season's last week.
