A Danish law professor is in Louisiana to find out what it means that Gov. Jeff Landry is the U.S. Special Envoy to Greenland.
President Donald Trump appointed Landry as special envoy in December.
Professor Frederik Waage of the University of Southern Denmark says the appointment is getting lot of attention in Denmark, but nobody knows what it involves.
Trump has expressed interest in U.S. control of Greenland for strategic purposes.
Waage says he wants to meet with Landry and invite him to speak at the university.
