LSU, Southern WBB Prepare For NCAA Tournament Openers

The LSU women's basketball team is gearing up for its first matchup of the NCAA Tournament.

The second-seeded Tigers will host 15-seed Jacksonville on Friday afternoon in Baton Rouge.

LSU will enter the tournament at 27-5 overall.

Meanwhile, Southern is taking the court for the First Four of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Jaguars are set to face Samford on Thursday night for the 16th-seed in the Regional 4. The game will be played in Columbia, South Carolina.

The Jags enter the contest at 19-13.
