New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno says no taxpayer money will be used for planned expansions at Louis Armstrong International Airport.
Airport officials unveiled the 20-year master plan last Thursday.
Director of Aviation Kevin Dolliole says the plan includes a second terminal, 10 to 15 new gates, an improved roadway system, and an additional parking garage.
Moreno says the enhancements will be paid for with the airport's self-generated funds or through negotiations with the airlines.
