The sentencing date is July 7th for two New Orleans injury attorneys convicted of running a car-crash scheme.
Vanessa Motta and Jason Giles were found guilty on Friday of mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering.
Jurors deliberated for more than five hours before returning the verdict.
Dozens of people were accused of staging fake car crashes in order to win big lawsuit settlements, and some who pleaded guilty testified in the trial.
