Sen. Bill Cassidy and U.S. Rep. Julia Letlow are trying to out-conservative each other in the Louisiana Republican Senate primary.
In a video posted to social media this week, Cassidy described Letlow as "liberal" by instinct.
Letlow points out that she has the endorsement of President Donald Trump, who calls her a friend and praises her loyalty. She also reminds voters that Cassidy voted in 2021 to impeach Trump.
No debate is scheduled prior to the May 16th primary. Early voting starts on May 2nd.
