The state Supreme Court says state prosecutors should be entitled to argue why some new post-conviction relief claims by the only woman on the state's Death Row should be deemed too late to consider.

Former NOPD officer Antoinette Frank was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death in 1995. She's been fighting her conviction ever since.

Last year a judge denied the state's request for a hearing dedicated to the timing objection. Last Tuesday, the Louisiana Supreme Court unanimously overturned the ruling.
